Cold day, warm candles.

I feel like this perfectly cold, dreary winter day is the perfect time to announce our newest candles. The folks over at Skeem (we've carried their pillar candles and half pints for year), are now bringing us soy candles in a signature Weck jar. Lately, I've been obsessing over Weck jars. I store everything in my house in them, including spices, pickled items, cotton balls, etc. So, when Skeem announced that their newest line would be featured in Weck jars, you can imagine how thrilled I was. Here's their little ditty about them:

Our new shape, the Weck canning jar, has been made in Europe since 1895.  The lid designs are inspired by our days at the Paris flea markets where jumbles of mis-matched items collect on tables and create unintentional collages of drawings, embroidered handkerchiefs, postcards, and advertisements.  The side of each jar features an embossed Weck logo and our signature printed canvas label.

These gorgeous candles have a whopping 100-hour burn time, which makes the $32 quite the deal! We are carrying three scents to start...and I'm already in love with the "White Tea Thyme". Love.  Here's the scent line-up:

Warm Amber blends woody amber with musk notes and an exotic layering of pine, orange and sandalwood.

Lilac Dandelion combines floral and herbal notes creating a light, green, blooming fragrance.

White Tea & Thyme is a crisp blend of tea leaves and thyme with hints of jasmine and lemon.
