They are one of those great items that can make a white t-shirt and pair of jeans look like a slam dunk ensemble! Plus, the roll up to the perfect stocking-stuffer size.
They are all handmade by women's cooperatives in rural areas of Peru. The work is done according to fair trade guidelines; most of the artisans sew in their homes or at a communal studio workshop and are paid a living wage. Each belt is hand created so no 2 are the same. They have a solid colored base (we have grey, black, navy, purple and olive) and the beautiful crochet work lays on top. They are soft and flexible wool so super comfortable. An awesome way to spice up a simple jeans and tee outfit.
